SANTA CRUZ COUNTY– A three-day maintenance operation is taking place in both directions of Hwy. 17 between Vine Hill Rd. in Scotts Valley and the Santa Cruz County line in the northern limits of the town of Santa Cruz from tomorrow, Tuesday, Sept. 11 through Thursday, Sept. 13, Caltrans officials have announced. Details are as follows:
Tuesday, Sept. 11:
- Closure of the northbound #2 (right) lane from West Vine Hill Rd to just south of Sugarloaf Rd. between 10 am and 2:30 pm.
Wednesday, Sept. 12 and Thursday, Sept. 13:
- Closure of the southbound #2 (right) lane from the Santa Cruz County Line to Cloud Nine Restaurant (North) between 9 am and 2 pm.
Electronic Message Signs will be posted alerting motorists of this roadwork, which consists of signs repair, tree work, ditch/channel cleaning which is necessary as part of the routine storm preparation and to ensure the safety of the travelling public.
Caltrans reminds motorists to move over and slow down when driving through highway work zones.
