Storm repairs began Monday (10/9) along Soquel Drive with traffic reduced to one lane at Aptos Street. Motorists are advised to expect delays, and avoid the area if possible.

Traffic controls will be in place through Dec 15, according to the Santa Cruz County Department of Public Works. Soquel Drive is one of a half-dozen significant repairs the county is working on, all caused by the 2016-17 winter storms. Others include Soquel-San Jose Road, Valencia Road, Bear Creek Road, Glenwood Drive and Swanton Road.
