Overnight Concrete Pour on Northbound Highway 17 from Laurel Curve to Glenwood Drive near Scotts Valley this Thursday, 8/30
An ongoing construction project along Highway 17 will require the overnight closure of a one-mile section of the northbound #2 (right) lane from Laurel Curve to Glenwood Drive near Scotts Valley on Thursday night, Aug. 30 for completion of a concrete pour, Caltrans officials announced today.
Roadwork consists of closing the #2 (right) lane on northbound Highway 17 along this section from 8 pm on Thursday, Aug. 30 until 5 am on Friday, Aug. 31.
Electronic message boards will be activated to advise travelers about this roadwork. The CHP will be present to assist with traffic control. Motorists can expect delays of 15-20 minutes. Roadwork is expected to be completed by 6 am on Friday, Aug. 31.
This roadwork is necessary to complete before the holiday weekend.
The contractor for this ongoing construction project is Graniterock Construction of Watsonville, CA.
