SANTA CRUZ – A project to resurface and widen the shoulders of Highway 1/17 continues with a daytime closure on northbound Highway 1, between the Fishhook and River Street on Monday, March 28, Caltrans officials have announced.
Roadwork consists of a lane closure of the #2 (right) lane and work hours are from 10 am to 12 pm for guardrail repair. Motorists can expect delays not to exceed 15 minutes. This project, when completed in the spring, will create two dedicated lanes on northbound Hwy. 1 from the Fishhook.
The contractor for this $1.2 million project is Granite Construction of Santa Clara, CA.
